6.4.1-D (Nav), part of MONSTER ARCHIEF, is an installation and video essay around the topics of nationality, murder, borders, and the mysterious, stateless sea. The work, which is based on a research at the Museum aan de A, connects themes of MONSTER ARCHIEF with nautical histories, imagining the ship as a connector between countries. By reproducing and transforming several artefacts, an associative field is created between historical objects and events.
