| een plek onder deze zon combined print, video, text and performance into a two-room exhibition. Looping different actions of making and removing traces, resting and waking, I made myself "a spot under this sun".
The exhibition also concluded my internship period at Studio RATATA, where (besides doing client graphic design) I was given free space to experiment with the pen-plotter and CNC machine. This research resulted in an array of generated sunsets, as well as a series of alphabet stamps. In the hot summer months, the topics of leisure, labor and a far-away place occupied my mind while making. |
